Kagla Vaportech was founded by my father, Kaoru Tamai as a plant engineering company, during the early days of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) industry. Under the leadership of my elder brother, Kenichi Tamai, who succeeded as the second President, the company established itself as Japan’s leading manufacturer of vaporizers.
In 2028, Kagla Vaportech will proudly celebrate its 70th anniversary.
Since joining Kagla Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in 1989, I have gained extensive experience across various roles, including assignments at the Arima Plant, in domestic and international sales, and as General Manager of our local subsidiary in China.
As we approach this important milestone, I have assumed the role of President of Kagla Vaportech, with a deep sense of responsibility to carry on the legacy and aspirations of both Kaoru Tamai and Kenichi Tamai.
Over the years, we have faced a number of challenges, including the global financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to the unwavering support of our valued customers and the dedication of our employees, our business performance has remained stable and on a path of steady growth. I extend my sincere appreciation to all those who have contributed to our success.
Last year, we launched a new initiative under the banner of “Team Management,” aiming to foster a more open, collaborative, and transparent organizational culture. We are committed to creating an environment where every employee feels empowered to express their ideas freely and constructively.
Moving forward, we will continue to engage sincerely with our customers, striving to build even stronger relationships of trust and to remain a company that contributes meaningfully to society.
